Patch notes for 2.10b - Crash fixes & holiday tweaks

A handful of bug fixes — mostly crashes that could pop up in specific situations, but more importantly a fix for the DIA mission getting hard-stuck at “Mission Passed”.

Also a small correction to how long holidays will appear for:

  • Easter: Mar 31–Apr 8
  • Halloween: Oct 24–31
  • Christmas: Dec 15–31

This means Easter is already over! Yay or nay?

What’s new:

  • Fixed crash in mission reward screen
  • Fixed several font-related crashes on load
    • A race condition could cause the canvas renderer to crash when custom fonts hadn’t finished loading yet — patched across a few callsites
  • Holiday theme detection now uses specific date ranges

What’s next

  • The PixiJS 4→8 engine upgrade is still ongoing in the background — it’s coming along nicely, but lots of things are still slightly crooked - lots of other things are getting enormous performance boosts and various optimizations!
  • Also cooking up something unexpected for Steam… stay tuned!
